A few years ago, George Fierro III built instruments for Danny Elfman during the day and moonlighted as the creator of fatalist-absurdo web series Skeleton Pals. Around that time for his own fun, he'd experiment with guitar, tape, and the reverberations of his room. What if Alvin Lucier was sitting in a room with his guitar? (And ok, cut the experiment off after one iteration of playback.) That's side one of SUN ROOMS. Side two is George putting himself in a trance improvising on guitar and synthesizer - edited into two separate zones simultaneously restless and tranquil (not unlike the skeleton pals, in a way).

SUN ROOMS is the sound of George free from any expectation other than his own. No boss, no bandmates, no intention of anyone else hearing these intimate, lonely (yet hopeful??) atmospheres. Song structure is hinted at, batted around, focused in on and then abandoned. George is interested here in the cosmic glue that binds it, that thing that's as hard to grab as a dust mote dancing through a sunbeam. Nothing to do but watch it fall.
